1. Germany is one of the most densely populated countries in the world.

2. One third of the country is still covered in forests and woodlands.

3. The Christmas tree (Tannenbaum) tradition came from Germany.

4. The working week in Germany also includes Saturday.

5. There are over 300 different kinds of bread in Germany.

6. There are also bread museums.

7. There are over 150 castles in Germany.

    Very sorry, but that is not true (and never was).

    The Czech have the highest beer consumption in the world, and have for a long time. I believe the polish come next and then possibly the germans. The Irish are way behind, probably not even in the top 10. I am all for Trivia, but let’s not fall into cliches

    dude seriously, do some research. Berlin doesnthave the largest train station in Europe, no matter how you define “large”.

    it’s either Gare du Nord in Paris for the traffic or Leipzig (still in Germany though) by floor area. Berlin just has a lot of levels….
